The Patriotic Pan-African Convergence ((フランス語:Convergence patriotique panafricaine)) is a political party in Togo. Former Prime Minister Edem Kodjo is the President of the CPP as of 2007.〔("Une démocratie en bonne santé" ), Republicoftogo.com, January 12, 2007 .〕 The CPP was created in August 1999〔("World Briefing: Togo: Opposition Alliance" ), ''The New York Times'', August 17, 1999.〕 through the merger of four parties:〔〔''Political Parties of the World'' (6th edition, 2005), ed.
